Talega is a 3,500-acre master-planned community in the inland canyons of San Clemente, built out through the 2000s around the Fred Couples-designed Talega Golf Club and organized into 15 named villages — Escala, Alta, Portomarin, Carrillo, Careyes, Verano, and more — each with its own park, pool, and greenbelt system.
